Convert a scalar into a scalar NumPy array.

Parameters:

• x (int | float | complex | Number | number) – Scalar value.

• dtype (dtype[Any] | None | Type[Any] | _SupportsDType[dtype[Any]] | str | Tuple[Any, int] | Tuple[Any, SupportsIndex | Sequence[SupportsIndex]] | List[Any] | _DTypeDict | Tuple[Any, Any]) – Data type of the scalar.

Raises:

ValueError – If x can not be interpreted as a scalar.

Return type:
