# IsotropicMixin¶

class probnum.randprocs.covfuncs.IsotropicMixin

Bases: ABC

Mixin for isotropic covariance functions.

An isotropic covariance function only depends on the norm of the difference of the arguments, i.e.

$k(x_0, x_1) = k(\lVert x_0 - x_1 \rVert).$

Hence, all isotropic covariance functions are stationary.
